SsangYong Motors UK today welcomes Broadstone Cars to the brand which will retail SsangYong’s range of 4x4s and SUVs from their premises in in Bridgnorth.  

Nick Laird, managing director of SsangYong Motor UK said: “Broadstone has a well-established reputation for excellent service. The growth of SsangYong means that we are attracting strong dealers from across the UK and Broadstone is no exception. We are delighted to welcome them on board.”

Broadstone Ssangyong, a family run business with over 50 years of trading, is situated in the historic town of Bridgnorth in Shropshire bordering the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Herefordshire, Cheshire, and Worcestershire with easy access from the M54.

Tony Hargreaves, dealer principal at Broadstone SsangYong, said: “We were attracted to the SsangYong brand by the quality of the product along with the 7 year/ 150,000-mile warranty. The all new Korando is a revelation and with electric vehicles in the pipeline the SsangYong range will open up a whole new market for us.”

SsangYong cars are manufactured in South Korea by SsangYong Motor, which is 75 per cent owned by the Indian engineering conglomerate Mahindra & Mahindra and imported into the UK by SsangYong Motor UK.  Established in 1954, SsangYong is Korea's oldest vehicle manufacturer and only 4x4 and SUV specialist producer.  There are currently some 65 SsangYong dealers covering England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, with new locations being added to the network all the time.
